Boss Engineering performed survey, site engineering design, landscape design, construction stakeout, and as-built construction plans for a new 3,500 square foot bank facility on a one-acre site along M-36 in Green Oak Township. The new bank facility received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the United States Green Building Council. Boss Engineering’s work included site layout, engineering design, storm water management design, landscape design, site lighting, and photometrics. Design features included an underground storm water detention system, a low maintenance landscape design utilizing native plant materials with no irrigation needed, and innovative on-site wastewater treatment and disposal. The storm water discharge from the site was reduced by incorporating infiltration into the groundwater.
